Pictured: First Team All-Southeast Regional award winner, Vickie Rich.Rich Earns Daktronics First Team All-Southeast Region
November 17, 2009ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA. – Lees-McRae College’s Vickie Rich adds Daktronics First Team All-Southeast Region to her 2009 resume, after receiving First Team All-Conference Carola earlier this season.
Rich led the Lady Bobcats and the Conference Carolinas in points per game with 1.85 and total points with 37. She also led the conference in goals per game and goals with an average of .75 goals per game with 15 goals in 20 games, and tied for first in assists with seven assists.
The Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Teams are voted on by the sports information directors of the Southeast Region. The region is comprised of the Conference Carolinas, the Peach Belt Conference, the South Atlantic Conference, Chowan University and North Greenville University.
Members of the first team are now eligible for Daktronics NCAA Division II All-America honors.
The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition.
