    BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae College Vice President of Athletics and Club Sports Craig McPhail announced the hiring of Cally Morrill as the College’s next Head Women’s Soccer Coach Friday afternoon. Morrill, who was the head coach for the Bobcats from 2010-2012, served as the head coach at Lynn University for the past five seasons.

In addition to the poll, the conference also announced that the trio of Tristin Bertie, Joshua Hall and Anton Ledell were named runners to watch for the Bobcats this fall.

Caspar comes to Lees-McRae after training student-athletes at his alma mater Queens University of Charlotte and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men’s soccer team announced its 2019 recruiting class Friday afternoon. This is Head Coach Rich Wall’s fourth recruiting class at Lees-McRae. In his previous classes, he’s produced the 2017 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year – Johannes Oeksnevad, as well as other All-Conference/All-Region selections, Harvey McMorrow and Agustin Ortiz. The 2019 class signings represent domestic student-athletes from North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois – to go along with three international student-athletes representing England, Spain, and Sweden.

    INDIANAPOLIS - Lees-McRae College freshman Britney Augustin became the first female track and field athlete in school history to qualify for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Augustin will be competing in the 400-meter hurdles, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday (May 14). The championships will be held in Kingsville, Texas from May 23-25 at Javelina Stadium and be hosted by Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
