BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country teams will travel to Wingate, N.C. Saturday to compete in the seventh annual Wingate University Bulldog Stampede. The women’s 6K race will begin at 9 a.m. with the men’s 10K race will follow at 9:45 a.m.

The idea started from a conversation between Banner Elk Elementary School Principal Tracy Grit and Lees-McRae College Vice President of Athletics Craig McPhail about ways to get student-athletes involved in the elementary school.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country teams competed at the Royals Challenge Friday evening in Charlotte, N.C. The women finished 35th out of 40 teams that competed, while the men came in 23rd out of 39 squads.
HARROGATE, Tenn. – Lincoln Memorial University scored five goals in the second half en route to a 6-1 victory over Lees-McRae College Wednesday afternoon in Harrogate, Tenn. The loss moves the Bobcats’ record to 3-8 overall, while the Railsplitters improved to 6-4 with the victory.
