Mac joins women’s soccer in support of breast cancer research on Minute with Mac

BANNER ELK, N.C. --- On this week's episode of Minute with Mac, Lees-McRae College Director of Athletics Craig McPhail heads out to practice with the Bobcat women's soccer team as they prepare for Saturday's Conference Carolinas matchup with Queens University of Charlotte.

The Bobcats have enjoyed a tremendous start to the conference season this fall, outscoring their opponents by a 28-2 margin through their first five matches in league play. Lees-McRae will host Kick for the Cure day on Saturday against Queens, auctioning off a pink LMC soccer jersey and a ball autographed by the team to raise money for breast cancer research. The Bobcats will also wear pink jerseys in recognition of the event, as they take the pitch sporting the seventh-best scoring offense in the nation.
