HIGH POINT, N.C. – Lees-McRae sophomore Brady Markle has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week for his performance over the last week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Markle (York, Pa.) averaged 4.50 kills per set, including a match-high 20 kills in a LMC’s 3-1 loss at NJIT. The sophomore propelled the Bobcats (9-5, 3-2 CC) to a sweep of conference foe King, with a 12-kill performance and four block assists.
Markle swung at an impressive .364 clip, including .476 in LMC’s sweep of Rutgers-Newark. He accumulated 12 digs in three matches.
He has amassed 178 kills on the year and leads the team with 3.96 kills per set.
The Bobcats are in action tonight at Belmont Abbey with opening serve at 7 p.m.
