Phillip Greene is in his first season as the Community Relations Manager for the Lees-McRae Athletic Department.
Greene has spent the past year as the sports editor and photographer for the The Avery Post, a local newspaper in Newland, N.C., and as a Youth Minister at Elk Park Christain Church in Elk Park, N.C.
Greene will wear multiple hats for the Lees-McRae Athletic department including: managing the department’s travel schedule, game day set up, community events during athletic contest and assisting the Sports Information Director with feature stories, photos, public relations and Lees-McRae Honors Night.
Greene is a graduate of Milligan College where he majored in Communications with an emphasis in television and radio broadcast.
