BANNER ELK, N.C. – Athletic Director Craig McPhail has announced the hiring of Nick Wagner to take over the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcat lacrosse program.

Wagner has spent the past three seasons at Erie Community College at the junior college level. In his final season at Erie, Wagner’s squad compiled a 10-5 record, which was a program best in wins in a season, and made it into the NJCAA Region III Tournament.

Prior to Erie, Wagner spent three seasons as the head coach at Division III Medaille College where he broke the school record of wins in a season with six in 2007. He began his coaching career at Medaille in 2003 as the women’s lacrosse assistant coach.
