    Cycling signs Svetlana Mack for 2017-18 BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae College’s Director of Cycling Tim Hall announced Wednesday the signing of Svetlana Mack (Silver Spring, Maryland) to join the Bobcats for the 2017-18 season. The signee is the first for the Bobcats for next fall.

    12 Bobcats named USA Cycling Academic All-Stars BANNER ELK, N.C. – 12 members of the Lees-McRae College cycling teams were named to USA Cycling’s 2016 Academic All-Stars the organization announced recently. The honorees were separated into three disciplines: Track, Mountain and Cyclo-cross. Two Bobcats, Samuel Dobrozsi and Jack Perry, were named in both the Mountain and Cyclo-cross groups.     LMC Cycling crowns a pair of National Champions at MTB Nationals SNOWSHOE, W. Va. – The Lees-McRae College cycling programs have had a couple stellar last few weeks. The Bobcats started the stretch with winning the overall SECCC conference championship for Varsity. LMC narrowly edged out Union College for that honor. Following that championship, the Bobcats had a pair of National Champions crowned in MTB Nationals in Phil Kmetz (Downhill) and Veronica Laughton (Dual Slalom).

    Inaugural "Meet with Mister" Provides Priceless Knowledge BANNER ELK, N.C. --- The first episode of “Meet with Mister” was a success last week as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Keith “Mister” Jennings held his first athletic department town hall meeting in the Bobcat Club Film Room. Each month ‘Mister’ will bring in coaches and student-athletes to talk about various topics and help continue to promote the comradery of Lees-McRae athletics, but also the experience of intercollegiate athletics.
