Lees-McRae Falls to Saints, 13-0

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Lees-McRae College men's lacrosse team fell to the Limestone College Saints 13-0 Wednesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas lacrosse action.

Limestone outshot Lees-McRae 60-20 and won the groundball battle 38-13. The Bobcats were only successful on 15-23 clear attempts, while Limestone was 16-17. Limestone also won 12 of the 16 faceoffs.

Limestone scored three goals in every quarter except the third where they notched four goals, while blanking the Bobcats.

The lone bright spot for the Bobcats was Andy Nesdill's 19 saves on 60 shots between the pipes.

Chandler Kirven picked up a team-high three groundballs, and Branden Snyder caused a team-high two turnovers.

The Bobcats are scheduled to host St. Andrews Saturday at 2 p.m. weather permitting.
