Free Soccer Clinic a Great Success

The Lees-McRae College Men's Soccer team held their free Annual soccer Clinic Sunday April 30th.

The Clinic was a huge success with over 60 kids attending. The kids were coached by the current players and coaching staff of the Bobcats.

The kids were able to learn many different skills and were also treated to some speed and agility drills using the "ladder"

The kids had lots of fun and were surprised to see a special appearance from the Chick-Fil-A Cow. The cow joined in by playing in goal, signing some autographs and even attempting the ladder.

The kids were also able to get the autographs of all the current Bobcat players and coaching staff after the event. Some of the lucky ones received prizes such as vouchers to use at Chick-Fil-A and Lees-McRae College Men's soccer team jerseys.

Head Coach Chris Whalley said "We always enjoy helping out in the community and this is a great way for us to do it. The kids always have a great time and they are able to learn something while they are doing it. I was really pleased to see over 60 kids attending the clinic and we look forward to even more next year."
