INDIANAPOLIS --- The Lees-McRae College men's soccer team is ranked in nine individual and team categories in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II men's soccer statistics, announced NCAA officials Tuesday.
Lees-McRae (4-2-1, 2-1 Conference Carolinas) enters the week ranked 34th in the nation in shutout percentage (0.43), and 57th in both team goals against average (1.08) and winning percentage (0.643). The Bobcats are also ranked 84th in save percentage (0.75) and 98th in total goals (10.0).
Sophomore Thomas Rusling (Sheffield, England) is ranked 60th in goals against average (1.08) and 94th in save percentage (0.742), while senior forward David Palmer (South Shields, England) is listed 54th in total assists (3.0) and 75th in assists per match (0.43).
Lees-McRae returns to the pitch on Wednesday when the Bobcats travel to Anderson, S.C. to take on Anderson University in a pivotal region matchup at 4:30 p.m.
