Trio of James' Boosts Men's Soccer Against Southern Wesleyan, 3-0

CENTRAL, S.C. --- A trio of James' scored a goal and freshman Tyler Pavlet (Goodyear, Ariz.) earned his fourth clean slate of the 2014 campaign while the Lees-McRae men's soccer team blanked Southern Wesleyan, 3-0, in a Conference Carolinas match Wednesday evening at Childs Field in Central, S.C.

The Bobcats (5-1-1, 1-0-1 CC) haven't lost in the last four matches while senior James Galvani (High Wycombe, England) scored his sixth goal of the season and took a match-high seven shots. The Warriors (4-3, 0-2) saw goalie Ruben Rodriguez make seven saves.

Senior James Smith (Eastbourne, England) got LMC on the board when he corralled a pass from freshman Thomas Deeley (Timaru, New Zealand) and squirted it into the lower left past Rodriguez at the 19:55 mark.

Junior James Abraham (Maidstone, England) recorded his first goal of the season when he blasted a shot in following a Nathan Watt (Newcastle, England) corner kick.

Galvani continued his impressive senior campaign with his third goal in three games when he took advantage of an open goal while Maurice Kleinert (Hannover, Germany) earned the assist less than five minutes into the second half.

LMC outshot SWU by five, 18-13.

The Bobcats return to action Saturday at 5 p.m. when they welcome CC foe Pfeiffer to Tate Field.
