Bobcats Sweep King

The Lees-McRae College Bobcats tennis team earned their second win in two days, sweeping King College 9-0 Wednesday afternoon. A day earlier, the Bobcats managed a 5-4 win over Mars Hill. The back to back wins even the Bobcats record to 7-7 this season.

The Bobcats had no trouble in the double matches, winning 8-3, 8-1, and 8-4. They would carry the momentum into singles play. Romulas Teague gave up three games in the first set of his 6-3, 6-0 match against Tate Burroughs. No other Bobcat would give up more than two games, as Lees-McRae rolls into conference play hosting Queen's University of Charlotte this Friday. Matches are set to begin at 1:30pm.
