College of Charleston Defeats Men's Tennis

BANNER ELK, NC - The Lees-McRae College Bobcats hosted Division I College of Charleston Friday afternoon, dropping a 9-0 decision in non-conference men's tennis action. The Bobcats record falls to 7-11 overall with the loss while the Cougars improve to 7-14, snapping a six game losing skid with the win.

Nandor Solymosi battled Mickael Boyer in number one singles, giving Boyer all he could handle in the first set, but succumbing to a 7-5 defeat. Boyer took the second set 6-2 to claim the point for the visiting Cougars. The Bobcats Alek Mojski also turned in a strong performance, but could not get past the Cougars Steven Meyers, falling 6-4, 6-4.

The Bobcats will resume Conference Carolinas action Sunday afternoon when they host St. Andrews Presbyterian College. Matches are set to begin at 1:00pm.
