
GAFFNEY, S.C. - The No. 30 nationally ranked and No. 9 regionally ranked Lees-McRae College men's tennis team defeated the No. 34 ranked Limestone College Saints, 7-2, Tuesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas match.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 2-1 lead with wins at number one and two doubles. At one doubles, Nandor Solymosi and Travis VanHoy pulled out a9-8 (7-3) win, and at two doubles Steve Karendal and Tyler Grove won in a convincing 8-4 win.
In singles, The Bobcats won five of the six matches to earn the win. All five of the wins were in two sets. Grove had the biggest margin of victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win at number six singles.
