The Sao Paulo, Brazil native has won two of his last three singles matches entering the conference tournament, including a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Belmont Abbey College's Tim Tanko on Saturday.

Lees-McRae returns to the courts on Friday when the sixth-seeded Bobcats take on third-seeded Queens in the quarterfinal round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament at 12 p.m. at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
