2016-17 Season (Senior) - Lakey saved his best for last as he matched his career-best with five singles victories and posted a career-high with six wins in doubles action...In his final season as a Bobcat, Lakey played exclusively out of the No. 2 singles position and No. 1 spot in doubles action...In addition to his work on the court, Lakey was also succesful off it as he was named to the conference's Presidential Honor Roll for the fourth straight year and the Academic All-Conference squad for the second year in a row. 

2015-16 Season (Junior) - Lakey posted two victories in both singles and doubles play as a junior...He played mainly out of the No. 3 and 4 spots in LMC's singles lineup...In doubles, Lakey played the majority of his matches in the No. 2 position but he did make one appearance at the No. 1 position as well...For the third straight year, Lakey was named to the Presidential Honor Roll for the conference...He also received his first Academic All-Conference honor as well following his junior season. 

2014-15 Season (Sophomore) - In his second season with the Bobcats, Lakey set a new career-high with five singles victories to go against 14 losses...Three of Lakey's three singles wins on the season came against conference foes...In addition to his work in singles, Lakey posted a record of 3-17 in doubles action with his teammate Joao Araujo...After his sophomore season, Lakey was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll. 

2013-14 Season (Freshman) - Lakey finished his first season with the Bobcats with 3-12 mark in singles action and 4-11 record in doubles play...The North Wilkesboro, N.C. native made his collegiate debut in a match against Catawba on Sept. 20...Lakey was named to the league's Presidential Honor Roll following his freshman season.
