Daniel Hogbin, from Hedgesville, WV, has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) with Lees-McRae College in the sports of men's track and field.
Hogbin, a standout athlete at Hedgesville High School, competed in the 2005 West Virginia State Track meet in the high jump. He was the 2004 Berkeley Country High Jump Champion.
"Daniel represents the type of student-athlete we are looking for at Lees-McRae," said Coach Craig McPhail. "He is a great student and a very versatile athlete for us as he can high jump, hurdle and might become a multi-event athlete for us.
Daniel is the son of Michael Hogbin.
Lees-McRae College is a four-year, coeducational college of
liberal arts and sciences, located in the fame high country of
Western North Carolina, near the base of Grandfather Mountain
between the Beech and Sugar Ski Resorts.
