DURHAM, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College Bobcats men's track and field team competed at the Duke Twilight Meet Sunday afternoon.
Pole vaulters John Arthur and Ryan Oakes finished one and two
with heights of 4.95 meters and 4.80 meters respectively. Arthur,
who has already qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track
and Field Championship Meet, had a solid outing in preparation for
his championship meet. Oakes provisionally qualified for the
national meet with his height at the meet.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Jesse Hoots, Corey Alexander, Adam Phillips and Chris Glenn finished second with a time of 43.29.
