Men’s Track Prepares for Conference Meet with Lenoir Rhyne Powersox Invitational

HICKORY, N.C. - Jesse Hoots set a new school record with a 50.21m javelin throw to led the Lees-McRae men's track and field team at the Lenoir Rhyne Powersox Invitational.

Hoots also had a third place finish in the 400m run with a time of 49.78, a fifth place finish in the 100m with a time of 11.24, a 3rd place finish in the 200m run with a time of 22.61, started the 4x100m relay team that finished second with a time of 42.93 and started the 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:27.18.

The team will return to action Friday and Saturday for the Conference Carolinas Meet.
