Bobcats post solid showing at App Indoor Open

BOONE, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae College men's track and field team turned in several impressive individual performances at Saturday's Appalachian Indoor Open Track Meet, which was hosted by Appalachian State University.

Evan Webb (Salisbury, N.C.) posted a solid sixth-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.15 meters, while Bradley King (Hildebran, N.C.) turned in a pair of personal bests in both the 400-meter run and the 55-meter hurdles. King finished fifth in the 400-meter with a time of 51.51 seconds in addition to a ninth-place showing in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.03 seconds. Jordan Wilbur (Chesterfield, S.C.) also posted a solid performance in the weight throw with a personal best of 10.17 meters.

Lees-McRae returns to action on Saturday when the Bobcats travel to Boone, N.C. to take part in the Mountaineer Open, hosted by Appalachian State.
