BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College track and field programs will make a trip to Cullowhee, North Carolina this weekend to compete in the Catamount Classic. The classic is scheduled to run on both April 13-14 from the Catamount Athletic Complex.
Lees-McRae is coming off a stellar performance at last weekend's Susan Rouse Invitational in Central, South Carolina. The men's and women's teams saw 10 different athletes notch at least one top 10 finish at the two-day meet. Leading this charge was the duo of Jalen Martin and Luke Rochester, who won the men's 400m hurdles and pole vault, respectively.
The two-day meet is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon with events from the Men's Decathlon and will run through to the Women's Elite Mile at 7:45 p.m. Action will resume at 10 a.m. Saturday, and they will run throughout the day.
