BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Lees-McRae College men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-16) decision to Lindenwood Saturday night in Bristol, Tenn. The match against the Lions was the final non-conference tilt for the Bobcats this season, and the loss drops LMC's record to 5-13 on the season.

Set 1: The Lions scored five of the first six points in the first set against LMC and never looked back as it went on to win the first stanza, 25-18. Karl Deichmann was the only Bobcat attacker to have a positive hitting percentage on more than one attempt in the frame hitting .750 on four attempts with three kills.

Set 2: LMC put together its best offensive frame of the match in the second set hitting .286 with 11 kills. The duo of Hector Serviat and Wes Rogman powered these efforts for LMC with eight kills on 11 attempts. Despite the performances by Serviat and Rogman, the Bobcats were edged by the Lions, 25-20.

Set 3: In what proved to be the final set of the match, Lindenwood stepped up its game defensively totaling 10 digs and blocked six LMC attacks on its way to a 25-16 win. With the work on the block by the Lions, the Bobcats hit .000 for the frame on 28 attempts.

Next Up: LMC will head to Pfeiffer next Saturday to complete the season series against the Falcons. The Bobcats knocked off Pfeiffer 3-0 when the two teams matched up earlier this season in Banner Elk. The first serve Saturday is set for 2 p.m.
