CONCORD, N.C. --- Senior Tyler Dunn (Jasper, Ga.) posted his first career win as the Lees-McRae College men's cross country team placed four runners in the top 10 en route to the team victory at the Conference Carolinas Preview Meet on Friday evening.
Lees-McRae claimed the top spot in the team standings for the first time this season, posting 33 points, as North Greenville University finished second with 50 markers. Barton College was third with 71 points, followed by Erskine College (72) in fourth.
Dunn paced the Bobcats and the field with a time of 16:18, picking up his first career win as fellow senior Michael Davis (Independence, Va.) finished fifth with a mark of 16:54. Colby Shell (Wilkesboro, N.C.) followed closely behind in sixth with a time of 17:07, as Anthony Carroll (Stevensville, Md.) placed 10th with a mark of 17:24.
Cody McNeely (Salisbury, N.C.) crossed the line in 17:28 to finish 13th, as Sean Condon (Walnut Grove, N.C.) placed 19th with a time of 18:07. Brenden Sherrill (Sherrills Ford, N.C.) was 22nd with a mark of 18:30.
Lees-McRae returns to the trails on Friday, October 18 when the Bobcats make the short trek to Boone, N.C. to participate in Appalachian State University's Blue Ridge Open.
