Lady Bobcats Picked 10th

The Lees-McRae College women's softball team has been picked to finish tenth this season, announced by the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference late last week. Two Bobcats were named to the CVAC's Preseason's Players to Watch list.

Head Coach Julie Kennedy returns all but three players from last season's roster, including Dakota Beck, (pictured top left), last season's CVAC Batting Champion with a .395 average. Salle Horner, was named team captain of the Bobcats for the 2007 season and was also named to the Player's to Watch List.
Coker College and Limestone College tied for top spot, broken by the number of first place votes, which leaned in Coker's favor earning five first place votes. Limestone earned three as did Queen's University of Charlotte to round out the top three.
