Lady Bobcats Drop Second at Tip Off Classic

COLUMBUS, GA--The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats fell to 0-2, dropping their second game at the Columbus State Tip Off Classic 83-55 to Georgia College & State University. GCSU improved to 2-0 this season with their second win of the classic.

The Lady Bobcats couldn't do much against GCSU in their second game of the year, as the GCSU shooters had the hot hands all night registering a school record 15 three pointers.

GCSU used a balanced attack as three players scored in double digits, led by Dominique Huffin's 14. Elicia Lynch and Tiauna Brantley picked up 13 and ten respectively.

Stephanie Mullinax (Etowah, TN) led the Lady Bobcats offensively for the second consecutive game, scoring 24 points while adding seven boards.
The Lady Bobcats will now return to the friendly confines of Williams Gymnasium Tuesday evening when they open their Conference Carolinas schedule hosting Belmont Abbey. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30pm.
