Tasha Taylor is in her fourth year as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Lees-McRae College. Taylor joined the Bobcats prior to the 2009-10 season after a record-breaking career at Division I Clemson University.
After three successful seasons at Clemson, including being voted the team’s Best Defensive Player Award in 2006-2007, Taylor suffered an injury forcing the standout to redshirt the 2007-2008 season. She bounced back in 2008-2009 with a tremendous season, forcing her way into the Clemson record books, and ending her tenure at the Clemson, S.C. school in the top five in career assists (433) and helpers per game (3.70).
Taylor graduated with a degree in sport management, and is a native of Columbus, Ga.
