# 2 Limestone Tops Women's Lacrosse

GAFFNEY, SC--The Limestone College Lady Saints proved why they are currently the second ranked team in the country Saturday afternoon, defeating the Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats 25-3 in Conference Carolinas action. Limestone improves their record to 8-1, while remaining a perfect 5-0 in Conference Carolinas. The Lady Bobcats see their record fall to 0-9, (0-5).

Fifteen Lady Saints scored in the victory, with Terri George, Katie Ilott, and Summer Ferraro each scoring three goals. Melissa Howard led the Lady Saints with three assists with Kelly Lickert, Dani Tosky, and Casey Wilcox each picking up a pair of helpers.

Freshman Desiree Cox (Hendersonville, TN) scored all three Lady Bobcat goals with classmate Ellie Psillas (Hagerstown, MD) on one. Cox also picked up a team high three draw controls. Goalkeeper Kristine Koch (West Falls, NY) made six saves in the Lady Bobcats goal.

The Lady Bobcats return to Tate Field to close their regular season with six straight home games, five of which will be Conference Carolinas contests. The Lady Bobcats open the home stand with a Conference game against St. Andrew's Presbyterian College Tuesday, April 4 at 3:00pm.
