BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's lacrosse team will be back in action Wednesday when it travels to North Greenville for a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Bobcats and Crusaders are scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out – In its home opener of the 2018 season, Lees-McRae fell to Converse College by the score of 11-5 last Friday. The loss moved LMC's record to 1-5 overall and 1-3 in conference action.

South Carolina Streak – Wednesday's game will be played in Tigerville, South Carolina, which could mean good things for the Bobcats. LMC is 2-0 in its last two games played in the state of South Carolina dating back to last season.

Lookout for Laster – Senior Tiffany Laster has done a little bit of everything for the Bobcats in 2018. Laster leads the team in ground balls (19), draw controls (20) and caused turnovers (20). Her caused turnovers number is the fifth-most in the Conference Carolinas this season.

About North Greenville – The Crusaders are 6-4 in 2018 and 2-2 in league play. NGU has played its best on its home field as it has outscored opponents 55-23 in four home games. With that large of a goal differential, it is no surprise that the Crusaders are 4-0 so far this season. Individually, a player to watch for the Crusaders is Rachel Kellogg. Kellogg has scored 34 of the team's goals in 2018, which translates to over 30 percent of the team's scoring this season.

Series Rewind – North Greenville has won two of the previous three all-time matchups against the Bobcats. NGU has not blown out the Bobcats in their wins though as its two wins have been by a combined three goals.
