"This
win was a great showing by the Lady Bobcats," head coach Renee
Lopez said. "It gave us an opportunity to get some of
our younger players on the field. I especially want to commend
freshmen Erica Mason, Jessica Cardenas, and Emily Jones who helped
us offensively and Lauren Griffin who helped us in the back line
today! It was also great to see Seniors Aerial Gregston and Lauren
McLelland score goals after both coming back from
injuries!"
"We believe
this game will launch us forward into preparing for our first
conference game this Saturday vs. Erskine."
The Bobcats will return to action Saturday, September 12th in
their first Conference Carolinas match of the season against
Erskine College at 2 p.m. at Tate Field.
