INDIANAPOLIS --- Freshman midfielder Kaitlyn Kerrigan (Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) continues to be ranked among the nation's leaders in assists, entering the week listed seventh in total assists in the latest edition of the NCAA Division II women's soccer statistics.
Lees-McRae is off to a strong start to the season, entering the week ranked 65th in winning percentage (0.667) and 66th in scoring offense (2.0).Kerrigan has been a tremendous part of the Lady Bobcats' success this season, recording at least one assist in each of her first four matches to pace Lees-McRae to a 4-2 start to the campaign.
The rookie halfback recently recorded her first collegiate goal as well, opening the scoring in Saturday's 2-1 win over Mount Olive. Kerrigan is also ranked 10th in the nation in assists per match, entering the week averaging 0.83 helpers per contest.
Junior forward Vickie Rich (Arlington Heights, Ill.) is off to a flying start this season for Lees-McRae, entering the week ranked among the nation's leaders in goals per match (81st-0.67), total points (82nd-9.0), and points per match (101st-1.5).
Lees-McRae returns to the pitch on Wednesday when the Lady Bobcats travel to Bristol, Tenn. for a 2:30 p.m. matchup with King College.
