BOONE, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback against Carson-Newman in a nonconference tilt at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex Wednesday afternoon in Boone, N.C.
The Eagles (7-1) won their fifth consecutive contest while goalie Jessica Fraiture earned her first career clean slate. The Bobcats (2-6) saw freshman Alexis Feely (Wake Forest, N.C.) record her fifth contest of seven or more saves.

Ness struck again at the 67:58 mark after Camilla Olsson fed her a ball 10 yards outside the box. Ness was able to get a clean foot on it and find the upper right corner.
