HIGH POINT, N.C. - Senior goalkeeper Alexis Feely of Lees-McRae College women's soccer was named to the All-Conference Carolinas first team for the second straight season, the league announced today (Friday, Nov. 2).
This is Feely's third career all-conference selection, and her third consecutive honor. She finished the season leading the conference and being third in the nation in saves with 142, ninth in the league with a 2.21 goals against average (GAA) and fourth in the league with a .814 save percentage.
For her career, Feely leaves LMC in 10th all-time on the career GAA list (1.63), second on the career saves list (504) and one of two goalies in LMC history with 500 or more saves, eighth on the career save percentage list (.818), tied for eighth on the career wins list (19) and tied for fifth on the career shutouts list (17). She is also on the all-time single-season saves list three different times, and also on the single-season save percentage list in seventh when she notched a mark of .847 in 2017. Feely also contributed to the sixth-highest team saves total in school history in 2017 (157 total saves).
The Raleigh, N.C. native is the daughter of Jim and Peg Feely, and is a communication arts and design major with a concentration in creative marketing.
