Lady Bobcats Have Good Showing at Milligan Relays

CARTER, TENN. - Shantra McCoy won two events for the Lees-McRae College women's track team at the Milligan Relays Thursday afternoon.

McCoy paced the Bobcats with a first place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16:39 for a meet record. McCoy also won the triple jump with a distance of 31'11.25".

Erin Tyler took second in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17:34, and she took third in both the long jump with a distance of 15'00.25" and javelin with a distance of 85'01".

The 4x400 relay team of Jenny Hurd, Rayne Delutis, Ashley May and Rebecca Foard finished second with a time of 4:19.74.

The Lady Bobcats will compete at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational on April 11th for the next meet. This is the team's last tune-up meet before they host the Conference Carolinas Meet on April 17th and 18th.
