Lady Bobcats Finish Second at Southeast Regional Championship Meet

HICKORY, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats women's track and field team had three first place finishers on their way to a second place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship Meet.

Erin Tyler won the javelin throw with a 31.28 meter toss, Candice Corbin won the pole vault with a height of 2.75 meters, and April Harris won the 3000m steeple chase with a time of 12:46.96.

The Lady Bobcats finished second with 112 points. UNC-Pembroke won the event with 147 points.
