Pritchett leads nation in aces per set

INDIANAPOLIS --- Lees-McRae College sophomore Taylor Pritchett (Apex, N.C.) is ranked first in the nation in aces per set in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II women's volleyball statistics, announced NCAA officials Monday.

Lees-McRae (10-13, 6-6 Conference Carolinas) enters the week ranked 12th in the nation in aces per set, averaging 2.2 per frame this season. Pritchett has put together a strong sophomore season for the Bobcats, setting a career high with 57 aces this fall to enter the week leading the nation in that category with an average of 0.85 per frame.

The Bobcats return to the court on Tuesday when they travel to Wingate, N.C. to take on Wingate University in an NCAA Division II Southeast Region battle at 7 p.m.
